BCTSRT and the Search and Rescue community
mourn the loss of our dear friend and
member, David
Anthony Swiger. His loss will be felt
by all of us for the rest of our lives.
January 22, 1959 - January 5, 2008
We make a living by what we get, we make a
life by what we give. All of us die,
but few of us truly live.
Dave gave freely and passionately and truly
lived a full life.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna, who he
deeply loved and supported with great pride
in her search training, two
faithful dogs, Murray and Sis, and a stable full of beloved horses.
We also mourn the passing of our veteran
dogs, who always gave 110% and taught us so
much.
